Odin Urso was born in Copenhagen on March 5th of 1997 by a Danish mother and Italian father. Up to 11 years he lives in Denmark where he attends compulsory school. He always dedicates himself passionately to the practice of sports by choosing football, once he has moved to Italy, as the main sport.

He regularly attends “Ragioneria” and obtains his diploma in 2016. Meanwhile (at age 17) he starts playing golf and immediately discovers what is his true sporting passion. Despite the fact that he already manages to play at excellent levels with football, he decides to quit and devote himself entirely to golf.

In three years he becomes scratch, he gets numerous top 10 in the National Competitions (winning in Bogliaco) and arrives in the quarterfinals at the Italian Championships. In 2017 he also made his debut in Tournaments ALPS Tour also trying, at the end of the season, to obtain the "card". From 2018 to today Odin has won 5 national races and 1 absolute team championship (in the video below the event clip)

TARGET and SERVICES OFFERED

From 29 June 2022 Odin officially became professional (click here to see the Register of Teachers) after attending the trainees course for the training of Professional Goal Teachers at the National Professional School. Specifically, Odin takes care of newbies, youth clubs and game strategy with lessons in the field, as well as offering the service of privately accompanying boys to national competitions as a teacher and caddy. Obviously he will want to continue to consolidate his game with specific technical and physical training, to take part in professional and Pro-Am tournaments.

In 2023 he obtained the Level 1 Certificate for the Trackman system with the relative qualification to use it in his teachings (Trackman Certificate Level 1), while at the beginning of 2024 it will also obtain the Level 2 Certificate (Trackman system).

In February 2024 he interrupted his collaboration as instructor at the Le Vigne Golf Club in Villafranca di Verona. Since March 2024 he has been collaborating with the Verdura Resort of the Rocco Forte chain as a Golf Professional.
